Show i Ray Middlesworth Dies After Heart Attack I Ray L. Middlesworth, 55, died Sunday atter having suffered a severe heart attack about ten days earlier. He had been in poor health for over six years after having suffered a stroke, and failed to rally from the heart attack. at-tack. He was born on March 13, 1909, in Duffield, Michigan, a son of John and Ella Church Middles- I worth. He married Carolyn Rollo in Cedar City on March 'l 7, 1941,' i wlui survives him. He is also sur- j v ived by a son, McKay ( Butch ) ! Middlesworth, Cedar City; a sister. sis-ter. Mrs. Evelyn Ackerman, I Swart. Creek. Mich., and a brother, broth-er, John J. Middlesworth, Claw-son, Claw-son, Mich. ! Mr. Middlesworth was a veteran veter-an of military service, having , served in the army during 1912- 19ir, and had owned and oper-. oper-. ated Kay's Trailer Court, Ray's .Service Station, and Ray's Cafe. t He was a member of the lix-al i Elks Lodge, BPOE No. 1556, and I had also been a member of the Cedar City Junior Chamber of ! Commerce. Funeral services will be con- ducted this afternoon, Thursday, in the Cedar First Ward t liapel, under the direction of Bishop Gay lord Whitney of the Cedar Second Ward. Speakers will be Harry H. Lunt and Dr. L. V. Broadbent. Invocation In-vocation will be Zealand Mur-dock, Mur-dock, benediction by Lanoir Jones and dedication of the grave at the Cedar City cemetery by David L. Sargent. Prayer at the mortuary mortu-ary will be by Klien Rollo. The musical program will Include In-clude vocal solos by Ralph Hafen and Alice Williams, and a vocal number by a mixed quartet composed com-posed of Mamie Eck, Lois Mc-Connel, Mc-Connel, Herschel Neeley and Wm. Condie. Organ music will be by Vivian Knell. |
