Show Cooperation Sought On Sugarbeet Acreage Allotments Farmers who will not plant the sugarbeet acreage recently allotted al-lotted to them should immediately immediate-ly release this acreage to the county ASCS office for redistribution. redistribu-tion. Boyd Christensen, Chairman of the Iron ASC county committee commit-tee stated today that it is important import-ant that the complete sugarbeet acreage allocated to the county is utilized. Producers desiring to ' plant acreage in excess of the acreage alloted may file a supplemental sup-plemental request for consideration consider-ation in redistributing any acreage acre-age released by producers not using us-ing any part of the acreage allocated al-located to them. The county committee will reallocate re-allocate such acreage as may be available on the following dates: March 15, 1965; April 2, 19C5 and April 20, 1965. Revised notices of sugarbeet proportionate shares will be issued issu-ed immediately following these dates. The final date for redistribution redistri-bution of any acreage available during the planting season will be April 20. Reallocation of any acreage not planted will be made during the month of August Aug-ust prior to the start of the harvest har-vest season. Farmers planting within two acres of their designated proportionate propor-tionate share will have first con sideration in reallocating any available acreage, after which any acreage available will be proportionately allocated to those producers still in excess of their proportionate share. Any question or information with respect to allocation of sugarbeet sug-arbeet acreage for the 1965 crop should be referred to the county ASCS office or the sugar factory fieldman, Douglas Quayle of St. George. |
