Show Emma Nelson Dies Following Stroke, Services Saturday Mrs. Emma Lampson Nelson, 74. died Wednesday morning alter al-ter having suffered a stroke on Tuesday, Mar. 2. She was born In Clrcleville on Dec. 9, 1890, and came to Cedar City as a student to attend the Branch Agricultural College. She married the late Roice B. Nelson In 1911, and had resided In Cedar City where she had been active in civic and church affairs. Mr. Nelson died in 1948. Surviving are eight sons and daughters, Howard Nelson, Cedar City; Mrs. Wm. T. (Marie) Krue-ger, Krue-ger, Capitol Reef National Monument; Monu-ment; Mrs. Seth A. (Clara Jean) Bills, who Is In Ethiopia where her husband is teaching In the University; Garth (Bud) Nelson, Cedar City. Dr. Edward Nelson, La Puente. Calif., Richard Nelson, I Cedar City; Mrs. Willis (Shirley) Gurr, Empire, Nev. and Mrs. Lloyd (Luana) Warren, California. Califor-nia. Also surviving are 35 grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services will be con- ducted in the Cedar Third Ward chapel Saturday at 2 p. m. j |
