Show Henry T. Stephens Dies, Services Held Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at yie Cedar Ce-dar First Ward Chapel for Henry Truman (Tex) Stephens, 66, who died in a Las Vegas, Nev, hospital hospi-tal Saturday, March 17, following follow-ing a short Illness. Stephens had resided in Cedar City and Las Vegas, Nev, nlnce his retirement as a bus driver, where he had been an active supKrter of athletic events in the area. He is also a veteran of World War I. He was born April 5, 1895, in Clairmont, Okla, a son of Robert Henry and Belle Howard Stephens. Steph-ens. He married Buelah Gower Lowman, in May, 19-16, in La.-s ' Vegas, Nev. Survivors include his widow, a daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Colleen S. Elliott. Long Beach, Calif.; two stepchildren, Mrs. Clyde (Lois) Nelson. Cedar City, and John G. Lowman, North Attleboro, Mass. He is also survived sur-vived by a sister, Zoe Stephens, Buena Park, Calif.; two brothers, , Joe Stephens, Indio, Calif, and Troy Stephens, Hollydale, Calif., and two grandchildren. Burial following the services-was services-was in the Cedar City cemetery. |
