Show NEWCASTLE Mrs. Jorma Chrlttensea The lovely spring weather we "have had this past week has surely been appreciated. Even all the mud is drying up, and a few weeks ago, that seemed an impossible task. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Hulet were home for the week end from Henderson, Nevada, for a visit -with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Melvlrt . Hulef and Mr. and Mrs. Joe DelVecchio of Beryl. Billy Harrison, who also works in Henderson, drove home to spend the week end with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. -Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Christen-Ben Christen-Ben drove to St George this past week on business. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine (Cleo) Ap-plegate Ap-plegate and infant son of Cedar City, visited their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullls, this past -week. Mrs. Fern Hall and Mrs. Delora Hunt, both of Cedar City, were afternoon visitors last week at he home of Mr. and Mrs. Warren War-ren Piatt. Mrs. Mary Tullls traveled to St. George last week to visit her -ailing father, Duane Leavitt. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hulet and past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Rasmussen. They also visited their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet who are presently staying at the Rasmus sen home. Mrs. LaPriel Stevens and Mrs. Nettle Morris, both of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prince of New Harmony were overnight visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt Saturday night. Sunday Sacrament services were under the direction of the Stake Missionaries. Visitors and speakers were Mr. and Mrs. " Doyle Jones, Robert Banks, and Alpine Bowler, all of Enterprise, The MIA officers surprised Mrs. Mary Tullls at a birthday party last week after Mutual, at Mary's home. They served re-' re-' freshments and presented her with a gift Mrs. Iva Harrison and Mrs. Vivian Knell drove to Summit and attended the funeral services ser-vices of Elda Fife, after which they visited with Iva's daughter, Mrs. Lydia Morton, who lives In Summit. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbrey of New Harmony and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Prisbrey of Salt Lake City, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hulet |
