Show City Directory Publication Planned by Firm Preliminary work on Cedar City's Ci-ty's new city directory is progressing pro-gressing rapidly, according to William M. Sehllenfz, manager of the project The directory is being published publish-ed by Mullln-Kllle Company, na-iA.urMa na-iA.urMa compiler c! qmlitv directories. In association with the Iron County Record. The new directory is being prepared pre-pared by a house to house canvas can-vas of the area, under the direction dir-ection of trained supervisors. It will cover all homes and businesses, busi-nesses, with detailed Information about each. It will Indicate home ownership, number of dependent children, wife's name, occupation, occupa-tion, name of employer, accessible accessi-ble telephone number and address. In addition to the master book, which will go to business firms, a special housohoulders book will be mailed to selected homes with the compliments of the Cedar Ce-dar City Chamber of Commerce. All advertising will appear in "The Chamber of Commerce does not endorse the directory," stated Robert C Hansen, chamber cham-ber president, "but we have thoroughly thor-oughly Investigated the company and its methods and are glad to furnish information to anyone calling us. Cedar City does badly bad-ly need this new directory and we are glad to note that representatives repre-sentatives of the company are meeting with good cooperation." The directory will be distributed distribut-ed about September 1, 1962. |
