II I, H.H..I,,.,.. r CAROL LOU MUNFORD Miss Carol Lou Munford. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Munford of Cedar City, has received a call from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve a mission, it was announced this week by Bp. Wallace Wal-lace Sjoblom or vhe Cedar Fourth Ward. Miss Munford will serve In the French East Mission. A testimonial in her honor will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p. m. In the Cedar Fourth Ward Chapel. Friends and relatives have been extended) an Invitation Invita-tion to attend. A graduate of Cedar High School she has also attended College of Southern Utah where she was affiliated with the XI Lambda Tau social sorority. She has also attended a summer session ses-sion of the Brlgham Young Uni-verity.- - - - Always active In music circles she has performed in major productions pro-ductions of both high school and college. More recently she assumed as-sumed one of the leading roles In the Cedar Sake production of "Promised Valley." At CSU she participated in the production of "Bells are Ring-Ing Ring-Ing and 'was a soloist with the CSU Mala Chorus. . Speakers at the testimonial include in-clude Royal Terry, Horace Hall and Sheldon Olds, with remarks by Bp. Sjoblora and A response by Mist Munford. |
