The Sunday School gave the program Sunday morning in honor hon-or of Mother's Day. Each mother moth-er in the ward was presented with a flowering bulb. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clark of Ce dar City visited with relatives here Sunday afternoon. Waldo Reeves was .a business visitor in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Christensen and Phyllis Piatt of Salt Lake City spent Mother's Day here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt. Visitors' last week with Mr. and Mrs. Jess WUllams were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pace and son Mark of Boulder City. Nev., Ab-bie Ab-bie Pace of New Harmony, and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Pollock of Mesqulte.- Nev. Mrs. Mlna Piatt and Verna Davis and son Paul were dinner guests' Sunday at the home of her son and brother Mr. and Mrs. Browning Piatt at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams and daughter Deanna, of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nev., spent Mother's" Day here with his mother, Amanda Williams. A daughter was born at the Iron County Hospital May 14 to Mr. and Mrs. Rowen WlUlami Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Williams and son Joseph, and Mr and Mrs. Junius F. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Boardman of Paragonah were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorln Robinson. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ence were Horace Roundy and daughter Iona of Provo. Bishop Alton Ford was home from California over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Fife and children of Summit and Marva Prince and son Donald of New Harmony spent Sunday with their mother, Hannah Davis. Earl and Lucille Hunter attended at-tended the funeral of their grandmother, Rebecca Hunter, in Cedar City Tuesday afternoon. Our boy scout troop under the leadership of Scoutmaster Mar- vin Christensen enjoyed an over-night over-night stay at Zlon Canyon. They left here Friday and returned home Saturday evening. All report re-port having a very enjoyable time. Ren Roundy received word of the death of his nephew. Douglas Doug-las Roundy of St George, who was killed in a car accident south of St. George las't week. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Kitchen of Orem are visiting with Mrs. Kitchen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Robinson. |
