Show Opportunities Offered Residents To Advance Interests Providing opportunities for a wide variety of rich experiences in worshops and classroom study, College of Southern Utah is offering of-fering classes during summer session designed for re-certlfica-tion of teachers as well as advancement ad-vancement In educational growth. Scheduled from June 4 to- July 13, the first session of summer school will feature visiting fa-culty fa-culty members to supplement members of the regular staff. i A number of scenic tours to the wonderlands of southern Utah have been included as side attractions during the six-week schedule. Besides the short trips! to such places as Zlons National Park, Mountain Meadows, Temple Tem-ple Mountain, and other historical histor-ical and geographical points of Interest, longer trips to the Northwest Into Canada and to the south into Mexico are planned. plan-ned. These tours are exclusively sponsored by CSU. The one to the Northwest begins July 15; the one to Mexico on June 29. The cost of these extended tours will be nearly $150 to Mexico, and about $170 to Canada. A complete list of visiting faculty fa-culty members will be made soon, along with worshops to be conducted, according to Dale L. Nelson, publicity director. |
