Show RICHLAND By Doris Paderson Thursday evening, May 10 the P-TA held it's final meeting and program for the semester. A won-! derful program was put -on by the school children. The program Included songs, poems, skits, and especially a play of Robin Hood. A large crowd attended and refreshments re-freshments were, served. The winner win-ner of the quilt made by the school children was Miss Linda Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hansen. Mr. Hansen Han-sen works for Whiting Hammond Construction at present, building the Beryl road. We were all very pleased that a child won it. Also on that evening a Lions Club meeting was held to decide de-cide what evening shall be a permanent meeting night for the club. We were all surprised and very grateful to the Iron County Recreation Rec-reation Committee for the $3,000 given us to heJp on our recreation recrea-tion building. We only need a place large enough for programs and entertainments not only for adults, but for our children as well. We wish to express our appreciation ap-preciation to you all for your support and faith in us. |
