Show Stapley, Langston Recite Vows Mr. and Mrs. Austin Dale Langston Lang-ston were married Friday, May 11 in the St. George L D S temple tem-ple in a double ring ceremony. President Harold S. Snow officiated. officiat-ed. They were accompanied to the temple by close relatives and friends. The bride, Galen, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elton W. Stapley I of Cedar and the bridegroom is the son of the Jate Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Alma Langston of Hinckley. Hinck-ley. They are both prominenl students at the College of Southern South-ern Utah. Dale was on the C S U basketball squad this season and they have both been active in i music productions of the college. Saturday, May 12, the young couple were honored at a reception recep-tion in the Relief Society rooms of the Cedar Stake House. The reception was given by the parents par-ents of the bride. The bride appeared in a dress of imported French chantilly lace over satin bodice with pointed sleeve. The floor length skirt was made of ruffled tulle and lace. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses and white carnations. She chose her sister, Mrs. Mel-vil Mel-vil Ballard of Sajt Lake City, as matron of honor. Misses Sonja and Nadine Stapley were her bridesmaids. They wore matching match-ing dresses of orchid satin and net and carried bouquets of roses and sweet peas'. Little Don-eva Don-eva Taylor, niece of the bridegroom, bride-groom, was flower girl. She carried car-ried a basket of rose buds. Clinton Langston of Salt Lake City stood as best man. Assisting in greeting the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Wil-son Lunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lanell lunt. and James C. Bishop Kendall Stapley and Steven Tay-Jor Tay-Jor were ushers. The rooms were decorated with baskets of spring flowers. Pour-In Pour-In t were Mrs. James C Bishop, sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Clinton Langston. Serving were Sharon Dorrity. Pat Imlay, Ivone Ogden, Carolyn Endsley and Betsv Lunt. Gift room was attended bv Mrs Mitchell Lunt. Mrs. Clark Hirschl Mrs. Grant Bishop and Mrs. Tonv Calllster. At the guest K k was Opal Bauer. Music was furnished by a string ensemble composed of Laurena Jones, Marilyn Halver- sen, MarL'yn Bradshaw, Carol Ann Jones and Janet Knell. Dur- ' lng the evening solos were given by Carolyn Endsley, Marlow Sag-ers, Sag-ers, DeLyle Bennett, LaRae Bal-lard Bal-lard and Clinton Langston. After a short honeymoon the young couple wilt make their home In Cedar City. |
