Show Little League Teams Will Open Season With Downtown Show Cedar City National and American Amer-ican Little League baseball organization or-ganization will open the 1961 season on Wednesday, May 31, it was jointly announced by Douglas Russell, president of the National League and Farrell Peterson, Pet-erson, president of the American League. For the opening, arrangements have been made for a parade down Cedar City's Main Street at 4:45 p. m. Wednesday, May 31 with all eight teams of the two leagues participating. Arrangements have been tentatively tenta-tively arranged for the Cedar Junior Ju-nior High School band to participate partici-pate in the parade and lead the teams to the Little League parks where the season will be opened at 5:30 p. m.
