Show Parowan Warders Called for Church Mission Work Two more memDcrs of the Parowan Par-owan Third Ward and one from the Parowan Second Ward, have received calls to serve as missionaries mis-sionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently. re-cently. Donald Rowley, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, has received re-ceived a call to serve In the Scot tish-Irish Mission of the church, and Raymond Lowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lowe, has been called to serve in the Northern California Mission. Sara Ward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Ward, has been called to seive In the West Central States Mission. Miss Ward has been employed In Salt Lake City for the past year or two, but has received her call through the Second Ward here. Donald is presently completing his second year of school work at the Dixie Junior College and Raymond Is completing his first year of studies at College of Southern Utah. Both are graduates gradu-ates of Parowan High School. Rowley currently has a twin nrovner, jjuugias, serving in me French Mission. When these two leave for their missions it will make 11 members of the ward who are laboring as missionaries in various parts of the world for the LDS Church. Miss Ward will be the seventh member of the Second Ward to enter the mission mis-sion field. Elder Rowley will enter the Mission home in Salt Lake City on June 19 and Elder Lowe will enter the home on June 26. Farewell Fare-well testimonials for Elder Rowley Row-ley and Sister Ward will be held on Sunday afternoon, June 4. |
