Show Richard M. Knight Completes Army OCS Training Officer Candiate Richard M. Knight, 26, whose wife, Donna, lives at 331 N. W, 100 Cedar City, completed the Army National Guard officer candidate course at the Infantry School, Fort Bennlng, Ga., May 2. The nine week courase provided pro-vided Candidate Knight with a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of an infantry infan-try platoon leader. The Infantry School, after more than 40 years of operation, continues con-tinues to prepare a better infantry infan-try for our Army by initiating action leading toward the formulation formu-lation of new and the revision of old infantry, airborne and ranger ran-ger doctrines and techniques, with emphasis placed on the art of command. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Clif-ford Knight, 3&5 N. 100 E. Knight is regularly assigned to the 145th Artillery, an Army National Guard unit in Provo. Knight is a graduate of Cedar City High School and is a 1960 graduate of College of Southern Utah. |
