Show KANARRA Our Ward is planning a Homecoming Home-coming on the Labor Day week end. We would like all of our friends and relatives to keep this In mind. Any other plans will be announced later. Many of our people spent the first day of fishing with most of them getting their limit. Mr anrt Mrs roivronw Potn.. son and daughter, Lauralie, of Downel, Calif., visited with relatives rela-tives here enroute to Provo for their son Larry's graduation. A personal shower for Miss Janice Williams was given by one of her girl friends in Cedar City. Several ladies from here attended at-tended the party. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Williams and family of Boulder City, Nev., spent the week end here and in Cedar City with relatives. The MIA held its opening so-cial so-cial last week. Games were played play-ed and light refreshments were served. Joe Gubler spent last week end in LaVerkln with his sister and family. Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Naegle and family of Salt Lake City spent a few days with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Gubler. Gub-ler. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and family visited with her mother Hanah A. Davis. Mr. Prince took his son Lavell to Salt Lake City for a check up for his eyes after surgery last week. Mrs. Edith Sorenson and Led a Ruhlee of California are here visiting with their father, Sam L. Pollock. Lauana Kirk and children of Salt Lake City are here vlsitingl her mother, Mrs. Lynn Willians. who has been confined to her home for a yo.tr owing to a badly broken hip. Some of our kindergarten children chil-dren are attending school at Cedar Ce-dar City. ' Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pollock ind family isited in Enterprise with her parents, Mr. and .Mrs. Milton Laub. Visitois here from Henderson were Mr. and Mrs. Lionel D ivis, and Mr. and Mi.-?. Reginald Davis Dav-is and daughter, and Deal W.I-Hams W.I-Hams of North Las Vegas. Miss Deborah Williams spent a couple of days in Summit last week with her aunt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Fife. A Fireside was held Sunday evening in the Relief Society room. Mr. and Mrs. Vernile Terry of Cedar City were the speakers. Several relatives from here attended at-tended a birthday party In New Harmony Junt 6 for Lowell Prince on his 11th birthday. |
