Show Wedding Anniversary Open House Honors Parowanites Mr. and Mrs. W. Delbert Smith, prominent residents and church workers of Parowan, will celebrate cele-brate their Golden Wedding anniversary an-niversary on Sunday afternoon, June 15 at their home, with the event to be featured by an open house given in their honor by their children. All their relatives and friends in this area are cordially cor-dially invited to call on thein at their home between the hours of 6 and 7 p. m. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 17. 1903, and have been residents of Parowan Paro-wan for many years. Mr. Smith was born in Summit August 8, 1880, a son of William and Car bara Hulet Smith. Mrs. Smith was born in Panguitch on July 13, 1884 to Alma and Alice Ann Gardner Barney. They are both active members of the L D S Church. Mr. Smith is a High Priest in the Third Ward group and Mrs. Smith has been work director of the Third Ward Relief Society for the past 12 years. They are parents of four daughters. They are Mrs. Elmer O. (Delia) Gurr, Mrs. Charles F. (Norma) Burton, both of Parowan; Paro-wan; Mrs. Evan (Alice) Pryor, and Mrs. Harry (Edith) Pryor of Cedar City. They also have 15 grandchildren. |
