Show Non-Resident License Buying Hikes Fish and Game Funds Importance of the non resident fish and game license buyer in Utah Is shown by final figures covering the license year ending April 15, 1958, released from department de-partment of fish and game headquarters head-quarters today. The figures show that during the 12-month period ending on the above date a gross license Income In-come of $1,690,468.05 was received. re-ceived. Resident license buyers numbering num-bering 222,063 persons expended $884,577.05 for their purchases. Non-resident, numbering 31,550, expended $805,891.00, or nearly half the total gross license total. The department noted that a majority of all income is derived de-rived from license sales, with total to-tal Income coming only from fish and gam? revenue sources. It was also noted that $42,704.-40 $42,704.-40 was paid in commissions to dealers who sell the fish and game licenses and containers. |
