Show ENOGH-MIDVALLEY NEWS NOTES I By Cora Muri Mr. and Mrs. Robert Munson and family of Salt Lake City spent the week end with relatives rela-tives In Enoch and Cedar City. Mrs. Munson is a daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Stanford Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Swapp of Kanab visited with Mrs. Swapp's sister, Mrs. Aurelia Petty. Also visiting at the Petty home was Mrs. Petty's son, Charles Stevens Stev-ens of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Modrell and son of Los Angeles visited with Mrs. Modrell's mother, Mrs. Maud Jones. The Glen Garfield family were pleased to meet and visit with Mrs. Young from Ranier, Ore., Thursday evening. Alan Garfield is now laboring in Ranier and has been a dinner guest of the Youngs on several occasions. Mrs. Young is visiting with a daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Monson of Cedar City. Frank Matheson of Firth, Ida ho, visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Matheson, and other relatives in Enoch and Cedar Ce-dar City. The family of II. M. Naegle spent Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw. Mis. Grimshaw is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Naegle. The Naegle family has been attending at-tending a reunion. Those who are here are Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffman and daughter from Canton, Can-ton, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs Walter Merryweather and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Naegle of Salt Lake City. The Junior M-Men and Junior Gleaners of the ward participated in a baptismal excursion to the St. George Temple Saturday. Making the trip were leaders, Mildred Maxwell and Kent Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Kent Anderson, Audrey Au-drey Armstrong, Linda Grimshaw, Grim-shaw, Virginia Bryant, Marie Anderson, Leon Maxwell, Bob Curley and Worth Grimshaw. Graduates from the Cedar Cl- ty Seminary Sunday evening from our ward included Linda Grimshaw, Karen Matheson and Carol Richardson. Marie Anderson Ander-son was awarded a certificate for completing her fourth year course at the ceremonies. In the. Junior High School commencement com-mencement exercises four youngsters young-sters from our area participated. They included Steven Grimshaw, Keith Grimshaw, Bob Curley and Lona Anderson. This evening at high school graduation ceremonies Garth Jones, Virginia Bryant, Audrey Armstrong and Marie Anderson will receive diplomas. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Heaton are moving to St. George where C.lonrlon will assume manage ment of the Utah Poultry warehouse. ware-house. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Munson Mun-son are moving into the Heaton home in Enoch. Aaronlc Priesthood boys of thei ward furnished the program for Sacrament meeting Sunday. Presentation Pre-sentation of priesthood awards occupied most of the time. Three young men were recipients of the |
