National Poppy Day Observance Planned by Auxiliary Saturday, May 21 has been set aside throughout the nation, as Poppy Day. On this day Ameri can Legion Auxiliary units will sponsor the sale of poppies in memory of those who have lost their lives in the service of their country. Money derived from the sale of poppies will lie used to assist and aid the families of those who gave the full measure and those who, as a result of their efforts, cannot provide for themselves them-selves and their families. In Cedar City Mayor Arnold Anderson has proclaimed Satur -j day as Poppy Day and urges the support of the citizenry in backing back-ing this program. Members of the American Legion Leg-ion Auxiliary Post No. 71, will he in Cedar City Saturday to conduct the drive.
