Show Death Takes Former Cedar City Resident Daniel Glen Simkins, G6, former form-er resident of Cedar City and now of Enterprise, died at the Iron County Hospital Monday, May 19 following a long illness. Funeral Fu-neral services for Mr. Simkins will be conducted Friday, May 23 at the Enterprise chapel at 2 p. m., it was announced by the family. Born Mar. 17, 1892 in Cedar Ci-ty Ci-ty to Hezikiah and Erma Jensen Simkins, he married Deseret Morris on June 18, 1918 in the St. Georce Tpmnlo Survivors include his widow, Enterprise- hrC sc j- 1- Arlington, Wash.; Kent H., Enterprise, En-terprise, and James Bernard, of Marysvale; two daughters Mrs. Dolores Butts, Arlington, Wash.; Mrs. Marsha Truman, Enterprise. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; grandchil-dren; brothers and sisters: Mrs. Emma Warthen. Cedar City; Mrs. Lela Nelson, Springville; Mrs. Edna Shirtleff, Overton, Nev.; Mrs. Erva Edwards, Panaca, Nev.; Mrs. Idonna Maithies, Cedar City-ty; City-ty; June Simkins, Enterprise; Paul and Allen Simkins, Overton, Over-ton, Nev. |
