Show j Students Recognized For Activities At Camp! ire Program Recognition of outstanding student stu-dent leaders in all-around activities activi-ties at College of Southern Utah was extended at the anuual campfire program at the College ranch. Eighteen students received receiv-ed gold "A" achievement pins. The following were cited: Kay Ashcroft, Margaret Froyd, Marilyn Halversen, Dallas Isom, Betsy Lunt and Nellene Parry, Cedar City; Vera Jean Adams, Phyllis Graff, Alamo, Nev.; Elaine Fore-master, Fore-master, Caliente, Nev.; Kathleen Decker, Winnemucca, Nev. Tom Bird, Heber City; Betty DeLoeuw, Bicknell; Wendel Ilea-ton, Ilea-ton, Kanab; Cleo Tullis, Newcastle, Newcas-tle, and Pat Brian, Loa. School sweaters were presented present-ed to newspaper editor Diana Taylor, Fillmore and yearbook editor, Stephen Naegle, Toquer-ville. A special report of scholarship of these student leaders prepared prepar-ed by faculty advisor Richard Gillies indicated that the group earned a grade average of 2.40 (B plus) in addition to their many campus activities. Several were honor roll students. |
