Show HEWS NOTES OF SUMMIT ACTIVITIES I i Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet are the proud grandparents of a new baby girl, who was born to their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hulet of Cedar City on May 14. A birthday party was given for Mary Humpherys Saturday afternoon with all of his young friends in attendance. The occasion occa-sion was his fifth birthday. Refreshments Re-freshments were served by Mrs. Humpherys. The program at Sacrament meeting Sunday was given by the Aaronic Priesthood with Wallace Wal-lace Brown, Dercl Davenport, Bryce Stapley, Ray Farrow, Boyd Walker and Bishop Ivan Dalley presenting the program. Stake President Howard Knight, and Howard Ward, high councilman of Parowan also spoke at the services. ser-vices. Miss Carolyn Dalley also took part. The Mia Maids of the ward held their rose tying ceremony Sunday afternoon in the ward chapel. Parents of the young ladies la-dies were in attendance at the event. Those who qualified to participate in the ceremony were Pat Humpherys, Bonnie Dalley, Dona Gayle Fife, Francis Farrow, LaRea Farrow and Connie Dav-nnnrt. Mrs. ViRene Chamberlain gave a party for her son, Val, Friday with a group of friends present. Refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Grimshaw attended at-tended a get-together of the William Wil-liam H. Grimshaw family at Enoch with all of the family in attendance. Occasion for the gathering ga-thering was the celebration of Mr. Grimshaw's 79th birthday Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hulet en- tertafned the North Elementary faculty from. Cedar City at a breakfast Tuesday. Mrs. Carol Johnson had as her guests Mrs. Ann Gardner, Mary L. Bastow, and Lois McConnell at a luncheon and a bridge party par-ty last Thursday. The two Indian boys, Wallace and Eddie Brown, who spent the winter with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Grimshaw and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Farrow, will leave on May 23 to return home to their parents in Heber, Ariz., for the summer. Little Miss Vickie Fife of Parowan Paro-wan spent the week end with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife, while her parents, Mr. anti Mrs. Paul Fife, attended the Hell-dorado Hell-dorado in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. John Jones left for Las Vegas Friday to visit with their friends, Mr. and Mrs. George Logan and family during the popular Heldorado celebre-tion. celebre-tion. They returned home Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Adams and small .son of Cedar City visited at the home of the Hulet families famil-ies here Sunday afternoon. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dalley a party was given by their son Merril, for the Brown brothers, who are returning to their home in Heber. Ariz., this week. Mrs. Amanda Pace and her mother mo-ther and children visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Fife Monday. Mrs. Sylvia Stapley took the Pee Hive girls to the stake party.
