Show AY ROTC Department Implemented By New Instructor Major Ralph D. Kelley has been assigned as an instructor in the AFROTC Detachment at the College of Southern Utah, officials of-ficials made it known this week. He will take up new duties with the beginning of winter quarter, Jan. 3. Major Kelley arrived on campus camp-us recently, being transferred directly from France where he was aff filiated with the NATO headquarters for the Allied Air Forces of Central Europe. A native of California, he was graduated from San Jose State College before entering the Army Air Corps as an enlisted weather observer. The following year he qualified for OCS and was advanced ad-vanced fo 2nd Lieutenant upon graduation from the Miami Beach OCS during the war. Major Kelley is specialized in Personnel Service, and was effective ef-fective in this capacity in the Community Relations Program. While in France just prior to corning to CSU, Major Kelley was Historian for the NATO headquarters that is in command com-mand of all the six NATO Air Forces operating in Central Europe. His wife and three children will arrive in Cedar City during the Christmas holidays, officials announced. |
