Show Cedar Girl Becomes Bride in San Diego Wedding Miss Yolan Thorley and Howard How-ard Laurie Mi-Daniel exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony Saturday, Nov. 20, at Ramon's Marriage Haee in Old Town, San Diego. Calif. Officiating Offi-ciating was Bishop Val Dean Stewart of the North Park Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Thorley of Cedar City, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Mi-Daniel, Sr., of Austin, Texas. At the wedding ceremony Miss Jori Thorley, sister of the bride, assisted as maid of honor, and William Ellis was best man. The bride wore a plain colored color-ed street -length dress with navy blue accessories, and wore a white orchid corsage. Mrs. McDaniel is a gradate of the Cedar City High School and the College of Southern Utah and is now working at the San Diego public library. Mr. McDaniel is a graduate of Marble Falls High School. Marble Mar-ble Falls, Texas. He is a Yoeman first class, U. S. Navy, and is presently pre-sently stationed at the Naval Air Station, Miramar, San Diego. The couple plan to make their home in San Diego until Mr. McDaniel Mc-Daniel completes his military service. |
