Show Green to Be Canoed At University Ceremonies Capping ceremonies for 35 sophomores in the College of Nursing at the University of Utah, one of them a young lady frm Cedar City, will be held Friday according to Mrs. Hazelle B. Macquin, dean of the college of nursing. The services will begin at 6:30 p. m. in Kingsbury hall on the University campus. Guest speaker for the evening will be Dr. A. W. Middleton. Salt Lake City plsician. Among those receiving caps will be Lucy Rae Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orwin H. Green, of Cedar City. Miss Green is in training at the Latter-day Saints hospital in Salt Lake City. She is a graduate of Cedar City high school where she was on the student council. Twenty-three of the nurses to be capped are from the Latter-day Latter-day Saints hospital and will receive re-ceive their caps from Eleanor Sheldon, director, of nursing there. Dorothy Lowman, director of nursing at the c'alt T County hospital, will present caps to the 12 women from that hosDital. Immediately following t h e capping a reception for the student stu-dent nurses will be held in tn' Union building. The public is invited. |
