Show M-Stake Bazaar, Pageant is Readied for Saturday Everything is in readiness for the all-stake day which will be held Friday, March 20, according accord-ing to 1 Mrs. Gronway Parry, chairman. The day will include activities from 2 p. m. when a bazaar opens, to the cl-se of a pageant Friday evening. Pageant time is 8 p. m. Both activities will be held in the First-Fifth ward chapel. Fund raising for the proposed new Cedar Stake-Ward chapel has been the object for the project. pro-ject. The activities are sponsored by the stake and ward Relief Societies So-cieties as part of their work toward to-ward the new building. The bazaar ba-zaar and pageant were scheduled for this week as an observance of the founding of the Relief Society. So-ciety. Many people of the stake w-ill participate in both the bazaar and pageant. Articles will be put on sale in the bazaar at 2 p. m. and will include the best handwork hand-work from all 10 wards of the stake. A large variety of arti cles from which purchasers may select will be entered in the bazaar. ba-zaar. Luncheon snacks as well as food to take home may be purchased during the bazaar hours. A fishing bowl will be featured for children, with activities ac-tivities for children closing at 6 p. m. A baby sitting service is to be maintained at the chapel. The pageant will feature talent from the entire stake with seven Cedar City wards, Newcastle, New Harmony and Kanarraville participating. Mrs. E. V. South-wick South-wick is director of the production produc-tion with Mrs. Lehl Jones, Mrs. Gustive O. Larson and A. B. Larson Lar-son in charge of instrumental music and Mrs. Stanley Brad-shaw Brad-shaw and Mrs. Leland Betenson, in charge of the vocal music. The First and fifth wards are in charge of lighting, with Neil Peterson Pe-terson and Max Willis supervising. supervis-ing. Austin Dalley will be in charge of make-up and each of the wards will supervise costuming costum-ing for the scene in which it will participate.
