Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that Cedar City Corporation hereinafter herein-after referred to as the "Owner" will receive sealed bids up to 4:00 p.m. on the 31st day of July, 1950, for the award of contract for furnishing all labor and material ma-terial in connection with constructing con-structing Sidewalk, and necessary neces-sary appurtenances in Sidewalk listrict No. II. Approximate 26,750 linear feet 4-ft. wide sidewalk. The improvement located within the incorporated limits of Cedar City, Utah. Such bids will tie received in the office of the City Recorder, located in the city rnd county building in said city and will be opened and publicly road aloud at the above stated time in the court room in said building. Each bid must conform to and he responsive to this invitation, the Instructions to Bidders, the l'lans and Specifications, and all ether contract documents are now on file and open to public inspection in the office of the City Engineer of Cedar City, located lo-cated in the City and County Building at Cedar City. Copies of the plans and specifications may r.e obtained at the aforementioned aforemen-tioned place by depositing $15.00 for each set. This deposit will be refunded if the plans and specifications speci-fications are returned in good condition within 5 days after date of bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the owner, or a satisfactory satis-factory bid bond in favor of the owner executed by the Bidder as Principal and a satisfactory surety company as surety, in an amount not less than five per cent of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the Contract if it is awarded to him in conformity with the Contract Documents and shall provide the surety bond as specified therein within five (5) days after notification notifi-cation of the award of the -contract. Each bid shall be made out on a bid form to be obtained from he office of the City Engineer, Cedar City, Utah. The owner reseved the privilege privil-ege of rejecting any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding.
