Show BRC Men Make Tour Of RFROTC Bases Dr. H. Wayne Driggs, director of the Branch Agricultural college, col-lege, and Edwin L. Peterson, chairman of the ROTC committee commit-tee at the school, left early this week for an inspection tour of A F R O T C summer camps. The two men traveled by car to California where they are visiting vis-iting Hamilton Air Force Base. They will then be flown to Denver Den-ver to Inspect Lowry Air Force Base. The tour Is being made at the invitation of MaJ. Gen. John E. Upston, commanding general of the Fourth air force. At the A F R O ,T C camp at Hamilton field, specialized training train-ing in administration and logistics logis-tics is given. The two BAC rep-tesentatives rep-tesentatives will also see air training of the 78th jet fighter interceptor wing. Cadets at Lowry field receive training in transportation, armament arm-ament and comptrollership. After completing the.r tour of Lowry field, the two men will be flown back to the west coast from (where they will motor back to Cedar City. |
