Show Bureau to Give Contract or Long Valley Road Bids were opened in Ogden on Tuesday for the construction of 5.4 miles of the Cedar-Long Val-1 Val-1 highway, another step toward to-ward bringing this park approach ap-proach road up to standard. The construction on which bids were called is for extension of 'ht highway from the jolnt at Swain's creek, a short distance fnst of Duck creek, where construction con-struction ended on the last contract con-tract completed about a year ngo. The new construction "will continue the highway to a point Khout two miles from Highway 89. W. W. Clyde and Co., construction construc-tion contractors of Sprlngville, were low bidders, and F. W. Smith. U. S. Bureau of Public Loads announced that recom-tmndation recom-tmndation has been made that the bid be accepted. The Clyde Company bid for the 5.4 miles of construction was for $313,967. Mr. Smith reported that the project will be financed out of national park service funds, the agency which will make final ewardlng of the contract.
