Show DRAFT BOARD NOTICE As we all know, Congress recently re-cently extended tne Selective Service Law for another year pud the President has issued orders or-ders to reactivate the law as an emergency measure. Our Local Board No. 11 has therefore been called on to organize and prepare pre-pare for any emergency that night arise. To that effect the Board has bfen reorganized and is now ready for service as circumstances circum-stances require. There has been only one change in the set-up of 1948. Past member Sherman C. Lamb has moved from the county and has therefore resigned. resign-ed. Mr. Lamb was a valuable and capable member and his patriotic pa-triotic service wil be missed by this community. C. William Mac- f&rlane has been chosen to succeed suc-ceed Mr. Lamb. The following is the member ship of Local Board PJo. 11, iron county, Utah: Samuel F. Leigh, Cedar City, chairman; C. William Macfar-lane, Macfar-lane, Cedar City and Ray Adams, Parowan, members; Orville Isom, Cedar City, appeal agent; Dr. P. K. Edmunds, Cedar City, medical advisor, and E. B. Dalley, Cedar City, Clerk. Offices of the local board at present are located in Room 5, in the basement of the Federal building. Office hours are from 8 a. m. to 1 p. m. Mondays through Friday.
