Show Enterprise Sets Program for Pioneer Day Fete Enterprise: Jacob Truman, gen-eial gen-eial chairman for the Enterprise Homecoming and Pioneer Days to be held July 24 and 25, has recently announced the complete piogram for the annual two-day celebration. According to Mr. Truman, the cflebration will begin with an outstanding Pioneer program at 10 a. m. Monday in the LDS ward chapel. This is to be un-dor un-dor the direction of the Pilot Peak camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers headed by Rose Barlocker, president. The queen will be Vella Rose Barlocker. Bar-locker. The first rodeo show will begin at 2 p. m. in the Enterprise rodeo ro-deo arena, featuring, bronco and bull riding, calf roping, bulldog. Ting, team tielng. wild cow milking and a number of entertaining enter-taining novelty numbers. Immediately followinc the ro deo, at 4 p. m. sports for the younger folks will be conducted in the arena while for the older generation, a race meet will be held at the new Barlocker race t:ack, located east of town. Ray-nell Ray-nell Jennings, race chairman, ennounces that new starting pates have recently been completed com-pleted for the track and he promises pro-mises that it will be the best rce meet ever held at Enterprise. Enter-prise. The better horses from the surrounding counties and a number from northern Arizona and eastern Nevada are expected expect-ed to participate in the meet. i One of the best attractions of the celebration will begin at 8:30 Monday evening at the arena. This is an outside pioneer camp-fire camp-fire show, and Mr. Truman declares de-clares that southern Utah's best talent may be seen at this show. A dance in the open air pavilion vill follow the show. The second day's events will begin Tuesday morning at 10. with n rodeo. This will be followed fol-lowed by a softball game and novelty attractions at 2 p. rn. A; 4 p. m. a second big nice nuf-f will he held at the race Ui.c'-: rind will include a roundup round-up of the first day winners. The final rodeo show will be-pin be-pin fit 8:30 Tuesday evening and the I'i'st con boys in the entire surrounding areas will be on hind to entertain. To top off the celebration, the final event, a big dance on the fpen air pavilion, will begin at 10 Tuesday evening: The traditional Pioneer and Homecoming Days have been an annual attraction since the early ear-ly 1920s and this year's show promises to be the best yet.
