Show K.M.Doan Resigns As Head of State Liquor Board K. M. Doan. Cenar City, has icsigned as state liquor control commission chairman, according to an announcement made yesterday yes-terday by Gov. J. Bracken Lee. Just prior to the announcement. Mr. Doan had told newsmen that word of his impending resignation resigna-tion was Just a "rumor". Mr. Doan operates a wholesale and retail gas and oil business end 'an automobile agencv in Crdar City. "The press of private business" was his reason for re-signing, re-signing, according to Gov. Lee. He will remain with the commission com-mission for about two weeks while he inspects liquor stores and agencies in the state. Gov. Lre explained that Mr. Dian had asked to be relieved rf his duties several times In the past, but had been requested to stay with the commission until un-til a replacement could be found. |
