Show Dixie College Head Resigns for Position With N.E.A Pres. Glen E. Snow resigned his post at Dixie Junior college last week, after having served at the school for the past 12 years. He resigned as head of the southern Utah school to accept a position as assistant executive secretary of the National Education Educa-tion Association. Pres. Snow will leave early in September to take over his new duties, with headquarters head-quarters in Washington, D. C. The resignation was announced announc-ed by N. J. Barlow, assistant superintendent of public instruction instruc-tion for Utah, and will become effective on Aug. 31. Pres. Snow is recognized as a top educator in Utah and is a former president of the NEA and of the Utah Educational Association. Asso-ciation. He was principal at Parowan and Hurricane high schools, each for five-year periods, before going go-ing to Dixie as president. |
