In dogs and people, it is known to affect only males. In pigs, however, how-ever, both females and males may be stricken. It Is reported only rarely rare-ly in animals, but may be more prevalent than reports indicate, due to the inabil' y of owners to recognize the condition. Hemophilic Hemophil-ic animals usually do not live longer, long-er, than a few weeks because even minor injuries caus fatal hemorrhages. |
