Show Community Effort Provides "Hamlet'' Costuming Many people who are attend-! Ing the Rainbow Theatre Guild production of "Hamlet" this week have noticed the wonderful costuming cos-tuming for the play, but have not realized that these costumes are the result of the hard work of many local people. Because of the high cost of rentals for a production of this type, materials were purchased, and the costumes were made here in Cedar Citv. Thp result has been a professional appearance for the play, and the guild will have permanent possession of the costumes. Those who made the costumes are: Mrs. Loren Whetten, Laertes costume; Mrs. Twain Tippetts, Hamlet; Mrs. Ianthus Wrigl1, Gertrude, the Queen; Mrs. Dell Lundmark, Horatio; Mrs. Hazen Cooley, Polonius; Marjorie Webster, Web-ster, Ophelia; Mrs. Theron Ash-croft Ash-croft and Mrs. D. C. Schmutz, the guards, Karma Swindle, Claudius Claud-ius the King, and the Ladies in waiting their own costumes. Student Stu-dent chairman in charge of costuming cos-tuming is Grace Esplin. |
