Show Broncos Take Twin Bill From Snow To Gain Second Place in IC AC Race Coach Ray Lindquist's Branch Agricultural college basketball team jumped into second place in the southern division of the In-termountain In-termountain College Athletic Conference last week end with a convincing double victory over the Snow college Badgers. The Broncos trimmed the visiting Badgers by a score of 61 to 38 Friday night, and came back Saturday to win by a 51 to 39 margin. For the first half of the first game the Badgers made a battle bat-tle of it, but for the remainder of that game and all of the Saturday Sat-urday night battle the Broncos were in complete control at all times. Coach Lindquist's charges dominated the second game more than the first although they won by a much narrower margin. With Max Bond, Bronco center, leading the scoring with 21 points in the first game and 20 in the second, and holding the Badger's leading scorer, Arlis Jensen to 3 points Friday and 8 Saturday, the Broncos were never in much danger of losing. Working smoothly on defense, the Broncos gave the visitors very few close-in shots during either game, most of the Badger scoring coming from well out in the floor. At the same time the local team was able to set up scoring plays that broke men loose frequently fre-quently for lay-in shots. Every player on both squads saw action in the two game series, ser-ies, Coach Ray Lindquist using his entire fourteen men and Coach Jim Williams using his en- nf TEAM STANDING Team W. L. Pet.
