Show KAtlAMlA The MIA presented a three-act play, "Lena Rivers", here Monday Mon-day night before a large audience. audi-ence. The play was well received and much credit is due those taking tak-ing part. Some friends from New Harmony and Cedar City were here to enjoy the play. Val Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis is in the Iron County Coun-ty hospital where he underwent an operation for a badly cut knee caused from a fall. A tendon ten-don was severed in the fall, necessitating ne-cessitating the operation. His condition is reported as satisfactory. Mina Piatt has returned home after a visit of several days in Las Vegas with relatives. There is quite a lot of sickness in town due to bad colds and some chicken pox. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Williams have moved into their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Alpine Averett and son of Cedar City visited with her grandmother, Mrs. Amanda Williams during the week. |
