Show Farmers Finish Third In Annual Jaycee Track Meet Although they won only one first place, Coach Ty Tydlngs' Branch Agricultural Farmers amassed enough .seconds, thirds and fourths, to finish in third place In the annual an-nual Intermountaln Junior Collegs track and field meet held in Logan StaVurJay. 'Tlie Farmers finished with 35 points to their credit, well ahead of all schools except Mesa and Weber, first and second plaue winners, respectively. Mesa presented an unusually fine tram, running up an impressive total to-tal of 113 points, while Weber gained gain-ed 59 points. Mario Bussio lead the B.A.C. team with nine points, finishing first in the mile run and second in the 880-yard run. He was clocked at 5:51.6 in the mile, Just six seconds off the conference record. Mayo Rich was second high witn 7 points earned with a second In the broad Jump and a third In the high Jump. Carl Whatcott finished fourth In the discus and shot put and fifth In the 220-yard dash for five points. Tommy Fullmer took second In the pole vault to add four points to his team's total.
