Show Funeral Services Held Here For Prescott D. Lamb Funeral services are being held in the Third Ward chapel this afternoon af-ternoon for Prescott Daniel Lamb. 80, who died In the Iron county hospital, hos-pital, Tuesday. A resident of Salt Lake City, Mr. Lamb was visiting here with his son, Sheriff Sherman C. Lamb, when he was stricken ill. Mr. Lamb was born in Salt Lake City on August 12, 1861, a son of Brigham Y. and Mary F. Hardy Lamb. He moved with his parent.", to southern Utah when a child, living liv-ing for a number of years in St. George. He married Mary Donald Pymm of St. George on June 19. 1884. He moved to Salt Lake City in 1915 where he had resided since. At the time of his death he was employed em-ployed as quarry engineer for the Portland cement company, in charge of the company's Parley canyon plant. The deceased is survived by his widow of Salt Lake City; six sons and daughters, George L. Lamb of Pintura, S. C. Lamb of Cedar City, Mrs. George A. Walliams, Mr.. Kathryn Johnson, Mrs. Edith Mc-Kenney, Mc-Kenney, all of Los Angeles, and Mrs Edward Nelson of Fillmore, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. |
