Such is not the case. B Vitamins can be seen, felt, tasted fl and weighed, they are as real as fl sugars are in the vegetable and fl fruits we eat. Be- H cause vitamins are a real substance, B they can be obtained for commer- B cial purposes to supplement natural H soures when deficiency occurs. H The vitamins are necessary to the H normal functioning of the body. B They are necessary to growth, de- H velpoment, good health and vigor, g They are found In very small B amounts In foods, and when taken fl Into the body they are absorbed by B the tissues as other foods.
