Show Parowan Pioneer Dies Following Long Illness Funeral services were conducted . in Parowan Wednesday for Henry ' Weber Taylor, 78, pioneer resident 1 of Iron county, who died at hLs home In Parowan early this we after a long Illness I Mr. Taylor was born in a covered i wagon coming down Weber sanyon I enroute to Salt Lake City on September Sep-tember 22, 1863. a son of Thomas and Ann Chadburn Taylor. After residing in American Fork five years, the family moved to Parowan, where Mr. Taylor had lived since. H maerrled Mary Warren in the St. George temple in February, 1885. He is survived by eight sons and daughters, Mrs. Mary Robb of Man-cas, Man-cas, Colo.; H. Warren and Wilbur Taylor of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Evelyn Eve-lyn Lowder, Mrs. Golda Openshaw and Clifton Taylor, all of Parowan; Merrill Taylor of Logan, and Glenn Taylor of Garland; two brothers and a sister, J. O. Taylor of Bountiful, Boun-tiful, Wesley Taylor of Thatcher, Ariz.; Mrs. Joshua Walker of Cedar City, and 25 grandchildren. |
