' LIONS HONOR WIVES AT MOTHER'S DAY PROGRAM The members of the Lions Club honored their wives at a delightful Mother's Day program Monday, the affair replacing the regular weekly meeting of the club. The program, arranged by a committee com-mittee headed by Furl Porter, who presided, Included a Mother's Day talk by Lion I. E. Riddle, and a response re-sponse by Mrs. Joel J. Barlow; a series of songs, reading and dances, by Master Allan Harter, accompanied accompan-ied by Beth Leigh; and several vocal vo-cal numbers by a quartet composed of Donald Nelson, Kent Dover Wayne Nelson and Alvln Tldlund, accompanied by Miss Roene Bigler. Each lady In attendance was presented pre-sented with a corsage of sweet peas. |
