Welcome to Teacher Appreciation Week- This is a special time to thank our awesome teachers, who have dedicated their lives to teaching us skills we will use forever. for-ever. We have lots of fun stuff planned, but of course, it will never be emmgh to thank our faculty for all that they do. It would be very nice if some of you (parents included) could write a note of appreciation to a teacher who has made a difference in the life of you or your child. Teachers are the sculptors of the future and we could never repay them for all i they do. The faculty at Woods Cross are "Simply the Best"! Many hearts filled with thanks ; are given to FHA for a "love'Ty Sweetheart Ball. The 4 'sweet" offi-1 offi-1 cers put their whole "heart" and 1 soul into planning one gem of a dance. You help make WX "Simply the Best"! Wednesday is the Fifth Annual Film Festival. Many exciting and j innovative videos have been turned I in and it's sure to be great enter- tainment! Last year's winner was ! the classic "Garden Weasel Massacre" and I guarantee that the 1991 offerings will be even better. Don't miss the climax of the cinema season, right here at WX. Forget Hollywood or New York, we know ! where it's really happening! Wednesday is also President's ' Day. Not the official holiday, of ' course. But it is our President's Day Cat Our stupendous Choir Department Depart-ment proudly presents their Winter Concert on Monday, Feb. 25. This cultural extravaganza will start at .7:30 in the auditprium,Prior to that, however, a brief PTS A meeting will be held. At 7:20, the nominees for next year's officers will be announced an-nounced and amendments to the PTSA bylaws will be presented. Don't miss both of these exciting events! Speaking of exciting events, this week is the state Basketball Tournament Tour-nament at Weber State University. Our red hot men have had a terrific season and are really pumped to strut their stuff at state. Everyone come out and support these amazing amaz-ing athletes. The equally amazing women will finish up their regular season this week and begin tournament tourna-ment play on the 27th. Good luck. Lady 'CatsHf Congratulations to the Wildcat of the Week, Janell Kearl. Her favorite thing about WX is the people and we know she has lots of school spirit because she is one of our mascots this year. Being Wally Wildcat is quite an honor and Janell has done a great job. In her spare time, Janell likes to relax and watch TV. Have one doozy of a week! |
