NEILSON PROVO The Cedar City boys and the Murray girls did it again at the 3-A swimming finals held at Brigham Young University Saturday, as they successfully defended their respective titles. The Woods Cross boys tied for sixth with Box Elder at 152 points, and the girls logged five points, good enough for 22nd place. For her performance, Waterbury was nominated as a 3-A 'Female Athlete of the Year' by the state's coaches. The Bountiful junior "works really hard, because her goals are important to her," said her mother, Melinda Waterbury. Jennifer Jen-nifer spends anywhere from 2 to 5 hours per day in workouts, often beginning at 4:30 a.m. "Setting a state record was not necessarily a goal for her," Mrs. Waterbury said.
