Show Robert Taylor Matheson WOODS CROSS Robert Taylor Matheson, age 54, died at a local hospital Feb. 16, 1991 from a heart attack. at-tack. Born April 12, 1936 in Chicago, 111. to William John and Dorothy Fletcher Taylor Matheson. He married Carole Jean Oliver Sept. 5 , 195 8 in Chicago, 111. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Jan. 14, 1960. a H " X I If If a ' He served an LDS mission in the Northwestern States from May 1956 to May 1958. He was Justice of the Peace in Woods Cross City from 1972 to the present time, past president presi-dent of Utah State Justice Court Association. He taught school for 30 years in the Davis County School District. He had a beautiful singing voice, and he loved camping, motorcycling motor-cycling and Saturday afternoon matinees. mati-nees. He is survived by his wife, Carole Jean, Woods Cross; sons, Michael and his wife Carie, Riverton; Scott and his wife Beka, West Valley City; daughters, Julie and husband Paul Mulderig, Woods Cross; Karin and husband Mark Beckstrand, Bountiful; Amy Lynn, a student at Snow College; Col-lege; father, Chicago; grandchildren, Brody Mulderig, Brindy and Keaton Beckstrand; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m. in the Woods Cross Stake Center, 800 W. 2064 S. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main and Thursday from 1:45-2:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery. |
