Show Water worries VERNAL It's like the last train leaving the station, said freshman Rep. Bill Orton, D-Utah, but he plans to attach an amendment amend-ment to the $900 million CUP bill to protect the interests of Wasatch County. Orton, attending the Third Annual Uintah Basin Water Conference last week, said he worried about the de-watering of the county because of the deletion of the Daniels Creek Project from the bill. "It's the last train leaving the station, and I want to make sure it is going in the right direction with everyone on it," Orton said of the Central Utah Project bill. |
