Anna Olsen gave a lesson on Wilford Woodruff, who became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1833. Woodruff, who eventually became head of the church, kept written records of Joseph Smith's speeches. Much of the history of the LDS church came Woodruff's diary and accurate record keeping, The next meeting will be at the home of Maude Mayfield on Feb. 25. |
