Parker have been called to be missionaries mis-sionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will serve in the Thailand, Bangkok mission, entering the MTC Oct. 10. A farewell in their honor will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Centerville 14th Ward, 210 E. 1825 N. Elder Parker was Boy Scout executive ex-ecutive in Michigan, also a bishop, before retiring and returning to Utah.
