Show Vikes plan homecoming activities By AL Twas the dawn of homecoming and all through the halls every student was buzzing and bouncing off walls. The football teams psyched for their big game. and senior girls await their fame. With Rally man dressed and pit crew shirts on, '&Viking1 Jrr ViewsJ The true Viking spirit is still rolling on. ' And then from the streets there arose such a clatter The city could tell that the parade really mattered. Then what to my wandering eyes should appear A shiny white "V" on the mountain was clear. Whew...that was rough! Homecoming week is upon us and the festivities have begun. The seniors did an incredible job whitewashing the "V." The halls look wonderful! Thanks to all those organizations that participated. Just a reminder... Wednesday, Sept. 26 is the Powder Puff football game. Will the juniors be able to stop the mighty seniors? The game starts at 7:30 p.m. So everyone come out. Thursday, the 27th is the Homecoming parade. From there the pep rally will start and immediately im-mediately following the rally the bonfire starts. To top off the evening even-ing the cross country captains, Paul Cutler and Jason Hess, will run and light the"V." Who will be the next Mr. View-mont? View-mont? Friday's assembly is the place to be. Pit crew members always carry your cards. Exciting things can happen! Prizes, prizes and more prizes can be won if you are able to show your card when you win. Friday's big game is against Weber Warriors. Starting time is 7:30. The football team is ready and pumped. Good luck, guys! |
