He also likes golf, tennis and, of course, "The Scarlet Letter." Dwight is one heck of a guy and is just worshipped wor-shipped by everyone who knows him. Make the rest of this week something to remember forever and don't forget that it is too late to ask that special someone. By KIM WOODBURY Well, here we are, smack dab in the middle of Homecoming Week. At present, it all seems quite real, but in a few months this week will be just a dream, so you had really better live it up. The only way to do that, of course, is to throw your whole heart and soul into every activity ac-tivity there is, and there certainly are plenty to choose from. Friday is probably the busiest day of the entire year, with fun, memorable events planned from dawn till dusk. The Alumni luncheon, lun-cheon, at 11:30, is a chance for the leaders of yesterday to meet the leaders of today. The assembly begins at 12:30 and there will be special appearances ap-pearances by everyone's favorites, The Polyester Brothers and The New Kids on the Block, The parade starts at Five Points Mall, at 4 and will feature a float from every club and organization. It runs down Main Street to 1800 S. (by Marion Willey Ford), turns onto 500 W., then goes on the newly built road (by Barber Brothers) and ends up in the front parking lot of the one and only Woods Cross High Cat vScarfgfJ School. It will be good, wholesome fun for the whole family, so come on over! The football team will make it three homecoming victories in a row Friday night, at 7:30 against the Tooele Buffaloes. Wear red, white and blue and be there early for face painting, free balloons and other activities ac-tivities to pump up the crowd for a terrific game. The amount of spirit and vocal support from the crowd has left something to be desired in the past, so let's really hear it! The Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday from 8:30 to 11:30 in the WX gym and the theme is For Just One Moment." The price is $8 per couple. Royalty for the dance are queen, Brittany Blaser and king, Chris Hansen. First attendants are Amy Turman and Ryan Van Alfen. Second attendants are Alison Taylor and Mike Knight. Third attendants at-tendants are Natalee King and Darren Elkins. |
